Groundwater Supply and Exploration

We have provided professional consulting support for water supply and well head protection monitoring programs. Experience with well upgrades, new well development, testing, approval, instrumentation and monitoring. We have assisted both municipalities and industry to develop new water supplies and obtain Permits To Take Water. 

Some of our recent projects include:  

• Region of Waterloo monitoring well datalogger installation and testing.

• Town of Erin monitoring well datalogger installation and testing.

• Groundwater Science Corp. is currently assisting with the Region of Waterloo IUS Groundwater Supply Optimization and Expansion Project (in association with Blackport Hydrogeology Inc. and Golder Associates) – includes installation of new municipal, sentry and observations wells, community liaison, aquifer testing and analysis. 

• We have also assisted in the Town of Erin and Centre Wellington Groundwater Protection Studies (in association with Blackport Hydrogeology).

• Groundwater Science Corp. has completed irrigation water supply development and Permit To Take Water assessments or monitoring for golf courses in Holmesville and Whitby, Ontario.

• Our personnel have arranged and supervised multiple continuous core deep drilling programs for water supply assessment within buried bedrock valley systems for the Region of Halton in the Georgetown and Milton areas.

• We have also assisted with the testingand GUDI status assessments of large municipal wells in Fergus, Elora and Erin.

• GUDI assessment of a small-scale private water supply system in Puslinch Township.
  

• Pump testing and analysis to predict impact on private wells and natural environment features for the Woodlands Golf Course.
